Pupil of the Week 20th November 2020
Dolphins Learners of the Week are Tabitha and Sawyer for practicing the virtue of respect. The children always show respect towards adults, their friends and the classroom resources and we are very proud of them both.
Leo & Lorelai-
Well done to both Leo and Lorelai for showing great positivity towards their learning. Both children are always willing to have a go and put in a good effort. Your positive attitude to learning is really helping you to become more confident, well done Leo and Lorelai!
Jaxon - for the virtues of confidence and determination. Jaxon completed some fantastic independent writing yesterday in Literacy. Earlier in the week, he had found it a bit tricky and got a little confused. With lots of hard work and determination, he wrote a fantastic paragraph, and we are all very proud of him.
Jasper - for the virtues of reliability and trustworthiness. Jasper is always doing the right thing and is so respectful. He listens so well and works hard. He is a lovely member of The Dragonflies' class.
Elexa-Mai is our learner of the week for resilience. Elexa-Mai was poorly for a couple of days last week and returned to school when we had already learnt our Talk for Writing recount of our imaginary trip to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. However, Elexa-Mai didn't give up, she was determined to learn it in time for her to start writing her own recount and she succeeded! Well done Elexa-Mai!
Joe is also learner of the week for his determination. Whatever task is set, Joe will approach it with enthusiasm and in a rigourous way. He is determined to do his very best at all times. Thank you Joe for working so hard!
Michael- has been working extremely hard on his presentation this week during handwriting sessions. We have seen a good difference. Keep the neatly presented work up. Great perseverance has been carried out.
Leo - Kindness towards others , helping others with their learning. This is a very kind Leo and we look forward in you continuing to do this.
Toby - for really working hard and getting so much work completed! He has enjoyed our science and maths work so much this week.
Alfie - for always being so polite and appreciative. Alfie is also a very kind and thoughtful member of our class. He often offers to help people and always shows a caring attitude towards others.
Grace - for some great contributions and thoughtful reasoning in our science discussions.
