Learners of the Week ending 8th November
8th November 2019
Olly C and Chase - Both boys have worked so hard on their place value this week. They have been resilient if they have got things wrong and kept on trying. It's great to see such positive, hardworking attitudes, well done.
Seb and Noah, again both boys have really worked hard on their maths this week. Noah, your confidence is growing wish is excellent and Seb, you challenged yourself to work independently which is showing great maturity - well done!
Daisy - For generally working hard, having a jolly good go at everything and being a good sport. Well done!
Ollie Thirkle - Ollie has been working so hard in class and has really impressed Mrs Hayden with his recent work in Science where he was able to explain very clearly why shadows can change size. He always listens carefully, follows instructions and works diligently on every task. Keep up the hard work Ollie.
Grace - Grace always works to the very best of her ability and has produced some really thoughtful poetry this week based on an evacuee's railway journey. She is helpful around the class, always follows the classroom code and displays a very positive attitude to her learning. Well done Grace!
Rory and Max are both two fantastic pupils of the Wise Owls class. Every lesson we can rely on both of these boys to show exceptional behaviour choices who always follow school rules and demonstrate incredible behaviour. When working they always display determination, cooperation and work to their best of their ability. When given advice to tweak or improve their work they are not afraid to give it a go and take on the advice to develop their work further. Boys we really do recognise your exceptional behaviour and attitude towards your learning. You should both be so proud of yourselves. Well done and thank you for being so well mannered.
Ava LW – For ALWAYS doing the right thing and setting an example to her peers. Also, always presending her work, no matter what it is with care and orderliness.
Riley – for showing great enthusiasm and understanding in our raisins and soda water science experiment.
