Learners of the Week ending 8th February

Charlotte - for returning to school after a period of time away and getting on with things with no fuss or bother. You shave shown great courage, bravery and resilience, well done.

Lidia - For taking so much care and attention with your story planning. We used both a story planning sheet and a story map to help us plan. The detail in Lidia's story map is wonderful, we can't wait to read your finished story!

Special Mentions

The whole class for dealing with a difficult situation very maturely on Wednesday afternoon.

Oscar H - Oscar is a great role model for his peers in 4B. He works hard, shows great resilience and always asks for help if he needs it. Oscar is a child who will put in extra time and effort to get something just right and Mrs Cotteril and Miss Steele hope that he continues doing this as he moves up through the school. Oscar is a polite and well respected pupil within and we both wanted to recognise him for this too! Well done, Oscar!

Lottie F - Lottie has also shown great resilience and determination in all areas of her work. She is polite, helpful and kind to all of her peers and is also a fantastic role model. Lottie is learning to have more confidence in herself- her teachers believe in her and want her to continue to develop her understanding. She has made great progress so far this year whilst also taking care of others around her- this is an admiral quality- keep it up, Lottie!

Rosey - for her commitment and determination in her work and effort this week. In all lessons she has been focussed, always one of the first with her hand up to provide answers or suggestions and has been really thinking how she can improve and succeed. Well done Rosey, keep it up.

Alfie - for his determination and perseverance to improve his handwriting. For a long time, Alfie has been trying so hard to join his letters neatly and this week his writing has been beautiful. Keep it up Alfie!

Leo - Commitment Leo has shown super commitment to his learning. This week he completed a maths task independently, choosing his own strategies and he also produced a wonderful chalk pastel lion in the style of the artist, Heather Galler. Super effort Leo, well done!
